In the Szekszárd wine region, the Vesztergombi winery was among the first ones to adopt and apply the small barrel i.e. barrique ageing technique. From the first year on, this classical blend is made up of Cabernet Franc (60%) and Merlot (40%). The heavy, often rough style of the Cabernet Franc is complemented by the softness and loveliness of the Merlot.
